Oracle 12 the Green Database - Oracle 12 Eco

Now living in a time of financial crisis and a growing gap of natural resources
a new paradigma - a new database paragdima is needed.

For Oracle 12 i think this could be Oracle 12 Eco;

Eco like ...
... Econmical
and Eco like
... Ecological

Means the Cost Based Optimizer (CBO) will now be called the Eco Based Optimizer (EBO)
also internally called Extended Cost-Based Optimizer.
And the additional units of Cost will be added as Eco-Dollar (E$)
and Eco-C02-Cost (ECC)

a Query plan now the supports E$/ECC per execution step.
The database now writes not only ORA-Errors but also GRP-Errors directly posted to the
Greenpeace data collection server farm.

Applications now get Eco-certified and a new degree of certification arises :
the Eco-master - getting a green card if the certification was successfully.

Yes! Oracle 12 Eco the green database will change the world
more then all releases before;

Karl
